Let us pray

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for those who are gathered together in your name. We praise you for the blessings you bestow on each of us and the protection we receive as your children.  We bring our offerings before your throne of grace and pause in this moment to acknowledge the greatness of our God.  You deserve the glory for you are worthy of it all.

You have promised to watch over your people, Lord and you never slumber.  You watch over our comings and goings, and you will keep us from harm.  We ask for understanding according to your Word and for peace as we walk in your ways. Baptize us today that we may leave our sins at the foot of the cross and rise up in the newness of life through Christ.

Father God, you stand at the door knocking, waiting for us to hear your voice. Give us the strength to turn down all the noise of this world so that we may hear your voice speaking to us.  We recognize an intonation that is familiar; the pitch, the timbre, the cadence of those we love.  Convict us, Lord for not having the patience to listen. Fill us with an overwhelming desire to spend time on our knees learning the sound of our Savior, who rejoices over us with singing.

Lord Jesus, we declare victory where we feel defeat.  We declare hope where we there is hopelessness.  We declare healing where there is sickness.  We declare the joy of the Lord where there is depression.  We declare the clarity of salvation where there is deceit and confusion.  In the name of Jesus we bind the forces of evil here on earth and loose the power of our Lord and Savior across this land.

We plead the blood of Jesus over our nations, over our communities and over our families right now.  We claim your protection and your mercy.  Shine the light of your face and bring transformation, in the name of Jesus.  You are the God of miracles, and we invite your miraculous power into our lives.  Refine us with the fire of the Holy Spirit.  Open our hearts that we may receive your goodness.  Open our minds that we may understand the power of the creator of heaven and earth.  Open our eyes that we my see the glory of the one true God.

We leave our hopes in the hands of the Almighty. We trust our dreams to the sovereign leading of our God.  We follow the Shepherd of our souls and rest in your care.

In the mighty name of Christ our Lord, we pray.

Scripture

The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves.  He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

Quote

We must make a great difference between God’s Word and the word of man.  A man’s word is a little sound, that flies into the air, and soon vanishes; but the Word of God is greater than heaven and earth, yea, greater than death and hell, for it forms part of the power of God, and endures everlastingly.  ~Martin Luther

Let us pray

Be exalted above the heavens, O’ Lord and let your glory be over all the earth.  Our hearts are steadfast in you Father God.  We will sing praises to you among the nations and declare your might.  May our lips overflow with praise and our hearts be filled with worship today.  Though the earth is grumbling, we stand on the solid rock of Christ.  May our worship fill the heavens with the sweet sound of praise, for you O’ God are worthy and our awesome Lord, rules, and reigns forever and ever.

Father God, reveal the Word of the Lord in a new way today that we may know you, more deeply.  Raise up your servants to proclaim your Word and give us a yearning to pray.  May we exhibit true repentance and shine your light of renewal to a lost and dying world.  Help us, Father to do your will when it is difficult and to speak truth when it is inconvenient.  Forgive our sins as the nations have turned their back on the one true God.  Have mercy on your people.  Raise us up.  Raise us up.  Raise us up in the name of Jesus.

Fill us to overflowing with thankfulness, release the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives and saturate us with gratefulness for the saving grace of the blood of Christ.  Clothe us in garments of praise for we serve an Almighty God. May we lift our eyes to the hills in expectation for we know our help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.  Turn our mourning of hardship into the joy of the Lord and our ashes of doubt into a crown of steadfast faith as we trust in the sovereignty of our God.

Encourage our hearts, today, Lord Jesus.  Help us to hear the sound of you marching before us, Lord going before us to defeat the enemy that we may proclaim victory in Jesus’ name.  May we dedicate each and every blessing we have here on earth to you, Father, that we may bring you glory with our lives and honor you with all you have provided. You, O’ Lord are strong and loving.  Our souls cling to you, Father and we sing in the shadow of your wings.  Great is our God and greatly to be praised!

In the mighty name of Christ our Lord, the provider of all good things, we pray

 Scripture

May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations.  May the peoples praise you, O’ God; may all the peoples praise you.  May the nations be glad and sing for joy for you rule the peoples justly and guide the nations of the earth.  May the peoples praise you, O’ God; may all the peoples praise you.  Then the land will yield its harvest, and God our God, will bless us.  God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear him.  Psalm 67

Quote

A thankful heart is one of the primary identifying characteristics of a believer. It stands in stark contrast to pride, selfishness, and worry.  And it helps fortify the believer's trust in the Lord and reliance of His provision, even in the toughest times. No matter how choppy the seas become, a believer's heart is buoyed by constant praise and gratefulness to the Lord. ~John MacArthur

Let us pray

Thank you, Lord Jesus for those who have gathered here today in your name.  What a joy it is to serve such an awesome God.  We rejoice for your salvation and your precepts that preserve our lives.  All our ways are known to you, and we praise you for filling us with love for your statutes. May we seek your face and commit to listening to your still, small voice leading us to new heights for you desire to be in constant communion with us and lead us in the paths of righteousness.  What an awesome privilege to come before your throne and have an audience with the Lord God Almighty.

Father God, you have promised to guard the feet of your saints.  The very foundations of the earth are yours, Lord and upon them you have set the world.  We pray for strength for your people and victory in the name of Jesus. Silence the wicked in darkness and bring thunder from heaven on those who oppose your ways.  We agree right now for those in desperate need.  You are the Lord God who sees each and every one of us.  We are hard pressed on every side, but we will not be crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but never abandoned; struck down, but we will not be destroyed.  Thank you, Jesus.

Father God, give us discernment to see through the plans and attacks of this world disguised as righteousness.  Thank you, Lord for your endless mercy and never-ending grace.  We pray right now for those on our hearts who are not serving you.  Bring the lost home by the power of the Almighty.  Intercede and perform miracles on their behalf.  Send angels to take them by the hand and lead each and every person with the seeds of truth planted deep in their souls back to the arms of their loving God.

Thank you, Jesus you are our Kinsman Redeemer, paying off the debt of all our sins, redeeming us in every possible way and bringing us into the family of God. May we be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings we have come to take refuge.  We agree right now for the salvation of nations by the power of the Almighty.  May the terror of God fall upon the deceiver of the souls of man, and may we discern the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect, in the name of Jesus. Bring revival and bring true repentance in our hearts, Father. Look up, saints of the Lord, for our redemption is near!

In the name of Jesus, our Savior and everlasting King, we pray

 Scripture

My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck.  Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid, when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.  Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared. Proverbs 3:21-26

Let us pray

Thank you, Father God for this day which we can gather in your name.  We worship You for who you are and we bring you all our praise.  Thank you, Lord for the blood of Christ which covers all our iniquities and never loses its cleansing power.  You are worthy and we pause in this moment to give you praise.  Because of the blood shed on Calvary, sin has no hold on us and we can walk today in the victory of Jesus.  We are in awe of the greatness of our God, and we sing glory to your name.

Thank you, Lord, Jesus all our hurts and sorrows, all our brokenness and all our sickness is healed in the name of Jesus.  You were bruised for our iniquities.  Your scars heal our pain, and we find rest in the arms of Christ for you alone are King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  Fill us with peace from on high for we know our lives and the conditions of this world are all in the hands of the Almighty Creator.  We can rejoice in it all, for you, Lord God, paid it all!

Give us the strength, Father, to remain faithful in trials.  Help us to lift our hands in worship, again, again, and again for we serve such a mighty God!  May we not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time, we will see a harvest.  Hold us when we do not see your purposes, carry us when we become weary with this world, sustain us when we can’t see your hand, and may we trust beyond our human limitations that all your ways are right and everything you do is worthy of our trust.

Father God, we pray you will send a powerful host of angels to defend and deliver your people.  Work miracles and may the schemes of the enemy fail. In the name of Jesus, we claim victory for saints around the world and pray for a mighty move of the Holy Spirit to bring a revival that reaches across this land.  By the power of the Almighty we stand as gatekeepers and say, “No more.”  You must get behind us Satan!  You are defeated and you have no place or standing here.  In the name of Jesus, we claim victory for our own hearts, cleansing and purification of our minds, and salvation for our families for we have been set apart for your glory and we are called for such a time as this.  We ask all these things not by our own might, but by the power and the Spirit of the Lord God Almighty.

In the mighty name of Christ our Lord, we pray

Scripture

Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid.  The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.  With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.  In that day you will say:  Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.  Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.  Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.  Isaiah 12:2-6

Quote

It is not what we do that matters, but what a sovereign God chooses to do through us. God doesn't want our success; He wants us. He doesn't demand our achievements; He demands our obedience. The Kingdom of God is a kingdom of paradox, where through the ugly defeat of a cross, a holy God is utterly glorified. Victory comes through defeat; healing through brokenness; finding self through losing self. ~ Charles Colson

Let us pray

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for this new day and for each and every one gathered here today. We bring you praise Father for your great compassion. Your words are true, and your law is eternal. Your commands are righteous, and you are worthy of all praise. We long for more of you, Lord God. Give us a hunger for the sustenance of your Word. We worship you, Lord for you alone are the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We will tell of your wonderful deeds and give you thanks. You are exalted, Lord.

Reach down Father God and do a mighty work across this land, for you are able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we ask or think. May righteousness saturate our nations like rain and a powerful move of the Holy Spirit descend upon your people, in the name of Jesus. Fill us to overflowing that our lives may be a declaration of the boundless mercies of Christ. Reveal yourself in tangible ways and display your glory for all to see. Speak to the hearts of the lost and may people dream dreams of the Messiah which draws them to the one true God.

Lord Jesus, we ask that you unbind any restraints we may have put on our own life and release us to do your will right where we are, today. Broaden the horizon of what we see as possible in order that we may serve you. Give us spiritual boldness to speak truth and touch those around us with the saving grace that can only be found through the blood of Jesus. The days are short, and it is your desire that none should perish but all should come to repentance, so we commit our lives to serving you.

Forgive us Father God where we have limited your power, for you are mighty to save. We praise your deeds, your faithfulness to each generation, and the wonders you have done. We sing your praises and extol your name. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Divide the sea of confusion in this world and lead us out to stand firm on the solid rock of your Word. Break the hardness of our hearts and let the living water of Jesus flow through us today. Open the doors of heaven, pour out your blessings and we may find our satisfaction in Christ alone, the Bread of Life.

In the mighty name of God, the Creator of all, we pray

Scripture

Therefore, you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful. 1 Corinthians 1:7-9
