Let us pray
Thank you, Father God, for this new day filled with the opportunity to worship You. We thank You for those that are gathered together in Your name. We praise you for your never-ending mercies which are new for us today. We are so grateful for the blood shed on calvary that gives us new life. We quiet our hearts and worship You for You alone are worthy. Worthy, worthy is the Lamb of God. Thank you, Jesus. We enter into the holy of holies and bring our offerings of praise to the King of Kings, our Hope and our Redeemer.
Lord Jesus, give us the strength to fix our hearts on You and may our lives be marked by a deep and abiding trust in all Your ways. Though we are filled with groans and cries, all is well because we serve a mighty God. Though there is chaos in the world all around us, we are not discouraged for we are sheltered in the arms of our Lord and Savior and are being renewed day by day with the assurance that our momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory. Though we face trials and tribulations, we are not consumed because of Your great love, and we walk confidently into an unknown future holding fast to our known God.
Renew our hearts today, that we may reflect the transformational glory of our Lord and Savior. We rebuke the humanistic ideals that have us substituting acceptance over truth and compromise over the cornerstone of Your unchanging Word. We rebuke the lies of the enemy and the darkness encroaching on our families and declare salvation and restoration, in the name of Jesus. Pull back the veil of deception and bring a mighty wave of righteousness across this land. Have mercy on our nation and wash over our churches with an overwhelming flood of repentance, through the power of our Almighty God. We claim a covering of peace for your saints and a hedge of protection for your people.
May justice and integrity be declared over all the towering mountains and the high hills, in the name of Jesus. Bring low the idols of self and may we be overcome with the splendor of Your majesty. Give us a bold separation from this world that would prepare our hearts unto the Lord. We pause in this moment and bask in the glory of our mighty God.
In the precious name of Jesus our Lord and Savior, we pray
