Let us Pray:
Lord, we come to you today with hearts full of gratitude and thanksgiving for all your many blessings. We look towards this new year with expectation for what you are going to do in each of us individually and in our nation. For such a time as this, we are placed on this earth, and we gather today to pray for your protection for our families and for believers around the world.
Fill us with hope and give us a renewed faith as we look to the horizon for your return. Help us to trust in your direction and to leave our burdens at the foot of the cross. We pray for your mercy to rain down and we invite your presence into our days as we journey through this ordained time.
Bring revival in our hearts, within our churches and throughout our land. In your precious holy name, we pray.
Scripture:
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Is 43:18-19

Grant that I may not pray alone with the mouth; help me that I may pray from the depths of my heart. ~Martin Luther

Let us Pray:
Lord Jesus, we thank you for this Christmas season as we gather to celebrate the birth of our Savior. We join our hearts today to pray for an awakening of our kingdom identity and the powerful role you have for each one of us in this cultural moment. Give us a new vision and a deep longing to minister your life and peace to those around us.
As the star of Bethlehem led the wise men to your precious son, may your light shine through us that we may lead this nation to a renewed revelation of what it means to live an abundant life in Christ. Do a mighty work in each of our hearts today and heal our land. In your precious, holy name. Amen
Scripture:
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26
